Khurram is currently the Chief Product Officer at Sharpist, a mobile-first digital learning and development ecosystem with a vision to bring personalised learning for every employee everywhere.
Over the last 6 years, Khurram Co-founded African Leadership University (life-long and corporate learning) across Rwanda, Kenya, Mauritius and South Africa with a total of over 2,000 students and 250 employees. As COO and Head of College, Khurram led operations, product development, technology, sales and marketing and talent and culture for ALU and ALX.
Before ALU, Khurram was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company where he led 17 transformation projects in Telecom, Banking, Healthcare and Education across 12 countries in the Middle East, South East Asia, Africa and Europe.
Khurram holds a Masters from Stanford University, USA in MS&E with a focus on Operations Research, Design Thinking, Decision Analysis and Entrepreneurship.
