NYAMBURA MWANGI - Learning Facilitator and Project Manager
Nyambura is a multi- skilled experiential Facilitator and a learning designer with a broad International working experience in non-profit-making organizations spanning over ten years both in urban and rural Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and the U.S.A (TN). She is a well-seasoned management consultant with over 10 years’ multicultural experience as a consultant in corporate team building, experiential education (E.E), adventure trips and outdoor camping. She is passionate about building thriving communities within her networks.
In recent times, she has trained well over 40 organizations and over 3,500 individuals in Systems thinking, Leadership, Teamwork, Cohesion and customer service, in a span of 10 years in Nairobi and around the Country. Some of the Institutions she trained include: Cooperative bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Family group, CFC Group, N.I.C. Bank, Equity bank, A.P.A Insurance, Jubilee Insurance, C.I.C Group, U.A.P Old Mutual, NCBA bank, Mayfair bank among others. (2011-date). Her most recent and impactful work is with Imaginable futures on systems thinking for six months, focused on the power of communities and uncovering the patterns that allow for these systems to thrive.
Besides training experiences, Nyambura is equipped in curriculum design and has designed and implemented the onboarding curriculum for three full cohorts of 60 entrepreneurs for the African Young Entrepreneur Support Program, designed and facilitated a leadership cohort of 120 young leaders within the Africa Leadership space, designed a one year leadership curriculum for Pace international all of which were grounded on experiential training.
Nyambura is passionate about creating innovative spaces that will drive learning with a key focus on Leadership, Education, people and culture. On a normal day, you will constantly find her curating unique experiences, both virtually and in-person that will drive Impactful learning outcomes.
