SANDRA AKELLO - Intern
Sandra Akello is a graduate from Makerere University with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting. She has acquired transferable skills in a number of community-based education projects and leadership forums which have created a great impact in her growth and career aspirations. She has previously worked with Pan Dental surgery, a dental service provider and supplier of dental products as a Corporates and accounts officer, the Baobab platform which is a Mastercard foundation platform focused on equipping the youth with professional skills as well as extending opportunities to them as an Assistant community manager. She has also been part of many volunteering avenues like the Girls Alive Uganda project, Focus Lane Savings Group, the Uganda Red Cross society and Reproductive health Uganda. Her career interests are in community engagement, research, auditing, business management, health, environment and very passionate about youth development. Currently, Sandra is an analyst intern with NiaDelta where she supports the team with delivery and preparations, reporting, people operations, marketing and branding.
